Inspired by all the things I love in the Salish Sea and beyond, all influenced by the cycles of the moon. Whales, Mt Baker, salmon, bull kelp, and so much more.
This design was hand drawn on paper, transferred to a linoleum block, then hand carved and printed. Carved on an 8x10 inch block, and printed on 8.5x11 inch Lokta paper made in Nepal. Printed with Black Caligo Cranfield ink.
All prints are slightly unique in their own way. Some will be “saltier” in nature, and others will be a denser black. In a first edition of 27 prints.
